And it has been a local favorite for people who want to enjoy a nice fast food meal if they are not interested in cooking at home for dinner. All of that changed when the entire state of Ohio had to go on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and unfortunately the restaurant had no choice but to close down until the state would allow them to reopen. "That span of about two to three months was really tough for us because we had to all the sudden stop with what we were doing and just hope for the best that we could get out of this situation with our business still intact," said Jacob Law, who is a fry cook at White House. One of those people is Mick Meighen who is a 75-year-old resident of Wadsworth Ohio and he and his wife are really looking forward to hanging out with their friends and family without worrying about contracting COVID-19.

For years the restaurant has had the pleasure of serving students in search of a good meal, but the business has had to make adjustments during the pandemic. Some of the adjustments that they had to make were making sure that anyone who walked into the building to wear a mask and limiting the dining capacity to about 25%. But with the city of Chicago now loosening its COVID-19 restrictions on restaurants, the staff is confident the business will soon return to normal soon.
