Ken Stewart's Grille  of Akron, Ohio, is a great spot for Akroners who are looking for a fancy place to eat if there is a special occasion or if there is not a special occasion and just want to go out and have a nice fancy dinner. But unfortunately, they have had to deal with the effects that COVID-19 has brought upon them. "When we heard the news about the state of Ohio announced that they would go into lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19 we were worried that we might close down for good because we were permitted from having in-person dining but we did understand the fact that we did not want to contribute to the spread of COVID-19," said Dylan Stencil the owner of Ken Stewart's Grille. Due to the lockdown imposed, they lost a ton of money during the height of the pandemic and were concerned about the future of their restaurant because they knew that if this were to keep up then they would have to look at the option of closing their business for good. Like a lot of Americans, I am an avid sports fan and have been so since I was seven years old and I have been attracted to all kinds of sports. But if I had to list my favorite sports to watch and play. It would be Basketball, Football, Soccer, MMA, Boxing, Ice Hockey, and Baseball. But that got me thinking about if most Americans who enjoy watching sports like me would agree with my ranking or would they have something different from my list. So that got me interested in doing some research on this particular topic. In the latest Gallup Poll  on the topic of America's favorite sports helped me to better understand what types of sports Americans are watching and which sports they tend to prefer over other sports. So I took the data that was given to me by the Gallup Poll and I made it into a graphic to show the top 3 sports that are popular in America According to the statistics and data that the Gallup Poll gathered, Football still remains the favorite sport with 37% of Americans

They continued to remain open last summer and this spring with some changes that they had to make because of the pandemic. "One of the things that we had to do was we created stickers that separated people six feet from each other whenever we had a big line and we also install a policy that requires the employees and the customers to wear a mask," said Linda Ling who has an ice cream maker for 2 years. They put the stickers on the floor in the summer of 2020 when the pandemic was not as bad during the spring but still bad that they had to install them. But over time as the vaccines started to roll out, they became more lenient in requiring people to follow that rule. Another thing that they had to install during the pandemic is putting up protective glass in front

El Palmar Mexican Restaurant

El Palmar Mexican Restaurant  is a Mexican Restaurant that has been a favorite for Chicagoans since it opened in 2003. For years they have had the joy of serving people who were looking to eat authentic Mexican food but they had to close down their restaurant for in-person during the beginning of the pandemic. Their business got off to a strong start in 2020 and they projected that they would have one of their best years. But they, unfortunately, had to close down in-person dining when the city of Chicago announced they had to go into lockdown due to the increase of COVID-19 cases. "From what our data suggest at the start of the year 2020, we were headed to one of our best years in a while but all of that abruptly stopped because Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that in-person dining would be closed until they could get the virus in check," said Jorge Ramos, who is the owner of the restaurant.  Because of these new changes they were presented with. They had to improvise by allo
